Samantha Le Bold
An 8-year veteran of the travel industry, Sam has always had a passion for travel, particularly to and within international destinations. She has traveled to 40 countries including: Vietnam, Cambodia, Australia, New Zealand, Peru, Belize, Czech Republic, Russia, Croatia, Romania, France, Kenya, Tanzania, Morocco, Germany, Ireland, Scotland, Switzerland, Austria, Mexico and 20 others. Sam specializes in international group and independent travel, as well as, small-vessel and river cruising. Amy Shinsel
Amy has worked with Alegre Travel for one year. She has been traveling abroad since she was five years old and has developed a lifelong passion for travel as a result. She started out planning vacations for her family and friends, then the family business, and finally found her home here at Alegre Travel. She specializes in ocean cruising and loves to cruise with her husband and three children every year. She has lived in Hawaii and Alaska and traveled extensively in those areas to find off the beaten path unique experiences. Her favorite type of vacation is a warm beach vacation where she can be relax and scuba dive! Other countries she has visited are the Netherlands, Ireland, Scotland, New Zealand, Australia, Guatemala, Mexico, Honduras, and many islands throughout the Caribbean. Burr Betts
Formerly a biology professor for 30 years at Eastern Oregon University, Burr is enjoying a new career as a travel consultant where he can put his extensive travel experience to work helping others enjoy the pleasures of tourism. He’s a fan of ecotourism, especially when trips include cultural aspects as well. He’s taken trips of this type to Kenya and Tanzania; Belize and Tikal, Guatemala; and the upper Amazon River in Peru. As a post-doctoral graduate student, he and his family drove through Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, and Nicaragua to Costa Rica where they lived for a year. On other international trips, he has visited Poland, Italy, Belgium, The Netherlands, France, Germany, Slovenia, Croatia, Australia, and Micronesia. McKenzie Sheehy
McKenzie developed a passion for travel early on, but only in the past few years has she really been able to put it to use. She’s visited Ireland, Switzerland, France, and Belize in the past three years, as well as exploring more than few western states via road trips. She has a passion for experiencing off-the-beaten-path destinations, even in popular countries and cities, and learning about the histories of the places she visits.
